Research Scientist and Spacecraft Controls Engineer
I am an engineer and research scientist interested in the algorithms that enable autonomous and semi-autonomous safety-critical systems. My preferred existence is at the line between theory and implementation. My work so far has spanned control theory, optimization-based motion planning, simultaneous localization and mapping, computer vision, machine learning, and formal methods. More practically, my work has focused on spacecraft at Northrop Grumman and academic robots at UCLA and Caltech.
